Our History

Harry Cupp Jr.When it comes to a furniture investment, we all want quality, durability, beauty, and style.  Phil Cupp, Owner and CEO of Cupp's Furniture, understands this better than most.

You could say he was "grandfathered" into the furniture business, but actually he learned it from his father, Harry Cupp Jr., who opened Cupp's Furniture in 1936 with much help from his wife, Gwendolyn.

After returning from a tour of duty in the Navy prior to World War II, Harry Cupp moved the family business from downtown Elkins to what is now the Beverly Pike, on Glenmore Loop Road.

Gwendolyn CuppToday, Cupp's Furniture boasts a wide array of complete lifestyle groupings in fabrics and leathers, professionally decorated and, best of all, affordably priced.

Cupp's offers one of the largest and most impressive furniture showrooms anywhere.  Whether you're looking for a $199 futon for the kids room, or a $5000 Broyhill leather living room suit, Cupp's Furniture has a product to satisfy your needs!
